I have had the honor of being asked to photograph the Girl Scout Troops of Tracy and I can't tell you how excited I am. This is really something that I am looking forward to, not only to see my business grow, but because I will be donating a portion of the proceeds back to the Girl Scout Troops. These girls have worked so hard to get where they are (or are just starting out) and to show my appreciation for them choosing my photography business, I want to help them out. They will also be learning as we are taking their portraits. They will earn a badge for this special moment in time and some of the girls will be donating community service hours as well to earn a badge (or patch as I have heard them called from time to time). I will be posting a picture of the memory mate that they will be purchasing so that the girls will get an idea of what to expect. It will be posted shortly.
I have also been told that next year is the 100th (either birthday or anniversary) of the Girl Scout Troops of America and I was asked to come back next year (time, date, and location to be determined) to photograph all of the troops at once. WOW!!! What an honor and a surprise. I am also looking forward to this venture next year. :o) Thank you Lord for blessing me with such great friends! Gather your friends, family, or whomever you would liek to have in your photo. Must have at least 3 groups (2 or more) to qualify for a party. $50 (break it up between your friends if you'd like) which is PAYABLE AT TIME OF SESSION, will get you 1 8x10, 2 5x7's, and 8 wallets. You will be able to purchase other items as well at a discounted price (5% off purchase of entire package). If you book a party off of this session, you will receive an additional 5% off of your purchase (a total of 10%). Party must be booked at time of this session.
This is the perfect time to get together with your friends. Each session will last about 20 minutes. You can choose to have a themed party if you would like. Ideas are endless. If you need some help in this area, let me know, I'd be happy to make suggestions. Hostess provides the house or can pick a location of her/his choice (can be a park, a lake, a school, etc). Can have light snacks & drinks if you would like. Please keep it light so you don't get messy for photos. All photos will be edited, touched up, and narrowed down to 5 of the photographer's favorites. They will be available to view approx. 2-4 weeks (depending on size of party) from the time of the session. An email will be sent letting you know the next step.
